As some of you will have read, the first two women in history have completed the Army's storied and notoriously crushing Ranger School and are now entitled to wear the Ranger tab, which tells you a great deal about anyone whose shoulder you see it on.
A number of naysayers have suggested the standards were relaxed or that CPT Kristen Griest and 1LT Shaye Haver were handed their graduation from the course. Here is a newly Ranger-qualified, company-grade infantry officer serving on active duty WHO WAS THERE setting the record straight.

I started and finished Ranger School this year with Class 06-15. For the first time in history, two women will pin on [the Ranger tab] and you know what? They f*****g earned it. Every last thread of it.
I quickly found that the gender issue was a non-issue. We were all just Ranger students. Physically, they were studs. They carried their own weight and then some.
They earned it. Without the same wide shoulders, large frames, and high testosterone levels of their brother Rangers, they earned it.
