Demand for Impeachment
Dear Congresswoman Eshoo,
Thank you for ably serving as my Representative in Congress since I moved to California in 1997. I appreciate all you have done, and your forward-looking efforts at staying in touch online.
I am writing now to demand that you personally and immediately bring Articles of Impeachment against President Donald Trump. A full recounting of his high crimes and misdemeanors since taking office is available here:

But now, as of two days ago, he has committed treason by siding with a hostile foreign power and enemy of the United States – who helped him get elected by attacking and perverting the American electoral system – against the people and democracy of the United States, for his own self-interest. In the words of the New York Times: "Mr. Trump, standing just inches from an autocratic thug who steals territory and has his adversaries murdered, undermined the unanimous conclusion of his own intelligence and law enforcement agencies that the Russian government interfered with the 2016 election with the goal of helping Mr. Trump win."
The 242-year-old experiment in American democracy, and the Republic itself, is under threat, and we are sliding into fascism. With all respect, if you are not willing to take all possible measures to prevent it, you should not be in office.

It's worth printing her response, which is excellent – save the important matter of saying she's actually going to do something. Someone smarter than me suggested this is probably because, right now… she can't.
