Cheers, mate. 8^)
Yeah, unfortunately, I've learned to my cost that I'm better off taking about a day off, then getting back to work. (Both for the readers and for my own sake!) But it beats working! Thanks for the awesome support as always. Hope you're very well, and hope to see you soon.

I've just finished Arisen 5. You did a brilliant job. Loved it. I've read over 100 ZA novels & yours & Mr James are among the best. Many thanks. I'm so glad you made it work & finished it! As a greedy constant reader, I'm totally ready for part 6 ;) OOHRAH!!!

Hester - Awesome, thanks! You might be pleased to know I actually started the next book in earnest today. (I've learned, mostly the hard way, that a bunch of time off doesn't do me any more good than it does readers jonesing for the next instalment...) Thanks a ton for reading, and for chiming in.
Michael
P.S. Oh - as people were asking for suggestions to tide them over between books 4 & 5, we put together a list at http://www.michaelstephenfuchs.com/za.html, if that helps you at all.

I have been downloading and reading the Arisen series from Amazon this whole Thanksgiving break week. I just finished (!) Exodus and eagerly came here in the hopes that Horizon would be released already. Only then did I realize that Exodus had just been released itself. Woe is me - I want more! :) Great stuff guys. Keep it up.

Rob - Awesome, thanks on all counts! In a way your timing was good; but I guess the luckiest will be those who discover the series five minutes after the concluding volume goes out. (Perhaps they haven't been born yet...) Thanks awfully for the kind words and great feedback. We'll try to write faster!

Just finished it. Good work. The fire extinguisher scene is brilliant!

Thanks, Noel! I'll pass your compliments on to the chef of that notion. Glynn started doing research on what they kept around carriers - and having no idea what was militarily standard, or even possible, he came up with some pretty awesome out-of-the-box ideas...

Woo Woo! You are #6 in war book sales on Kindle and #8 in print war books on Amazon! At Christmas no less (when people by the big coffee table-sized blood and death retrospective books for each other [insert social commentary here]).

Love the Arisen series. I really wish you guys had no lives that way you could just constantly write. I never want this series to end. So.... book 6? soon? later this year? early 2015?

Michael,
Very many thanks indeed. Since you found your way here, I'll tell you what no one else knows. Basically, I was working on a second prequel to the series, and Glynn was working on another project. We both independently decided that what we really needed to be working on was Book Six - our emails actually crossed. So we did a Skype session to coordinate, and are now all engines forward on it. This won't be another Book Five - either over-the-top-action-wise (what could be?), or length-wise - but we think it could be very good, and (since we already know a great deal about what's going to happen in this book) we also think we might be able to get it out by end of March/early April. This is NOT an announced release date, and as of this moment only you know it anyway.
And, believe me, we may or may not have lives, but we definitely don't have anything more important than Arisen going on...
Thanks a lot for writing in, for the kind words, and for the great support.

Hey Michael,
Just wanted to say a big congratulations for getting this one out. I'm sure it will be worth all the effort and I'm very much looking forward to reading it!
Better get started on the next one?
