ARISEN : Raiders, Volume 2 - Tribes Launch Date

I'm enjoying this a good deal more than the first instalment. Chiefly because the pacing strikes me as far more realistic, that, and the characters are being given some real dimension.

One thing that puzzled the heck out of me though, on the Raiders “Sam's Club” mission, why the heck wasn't there some attempt to draw as many of the undead away from the area by making a sustained ruckus? Say, for instance, several hours before insertion, have a helicopter hover on the horizon a few miles away.
Perhaps have them, the 'copters, drop some type of noise-makers, flash-bangs or whatever, with fuses set to go off every ten minutes or so.
Seems to me like an obvious tactic.
