Today is the release date for the paperback of Pandora's Sisters in the UK available in your high street bookshop (touch wood) or from Amazon.co.uk. (Looks like it will be out in the U.S. in Jan 2009.)
And, since I neglected to dispatch it at the time, this past January saw the release of the spiffy new paperback of the The Manuscript in the UK. This edition also seems now to be available in the U.S. Yay.

Today is also the day I've finished writing my new novel, D-Boys. Yay, D-Boys. More on that soon, I hope. For now, it is, let's call it, a slam-bang high-tech up-to-the-second political special-forces military nuclear-terror thriller action adventure. With video games. And a very cool and unstoppable sniper chick. And a giant mutant beagle. Plus night-time supercarrier landings, safehouse takedowns in Baluchistan, silenced dual-operation ATVs, combat helicopter assaults into north London, virtual fights to the death for control of an enormous dry dock in the largest first-person-shooter massively multiplayer online video game of all time, breathless helicopter crashes in the mountains of Pakistan, waterborne SEAL Team assaults of hijacked super-container ships, Predator drones with real-time video feeds to palm-tops, and CheyTac Intervention sniper rifle systems that can kill you from a mile and a half away. Plus a huge heart. (Naturally.) And some big, raw political ideas. Suffice it to say, I'm really, really happy with how this book has turned out. (*)
Oh, today is also the sixth anniversary of Dispatch from the Razor's Edge.
And today is the 232nd birthday of the United States of America. Happy birthday, America.
