2009.04.12 : Best of T-Shirt Humor
Plus Best of T-Shirt Hell
And – RevoLucian's "F^&* It"
Also – Emotional BSG Fadeout

Special for Easter Sunday: hilariously rude t-shirts. This might seem like kind of a strange thing to anthologize. But, back when I was working for the Civil Service, I did find the T-Shirt Humour site to be one of those things I checked in on when I was bored and depressed and needed a laugh. (And sent around when they were particularly good.) T-Shirt Hell is good too, though even more off-colour.

And what are rude t-shirts without a good soundtrack? When I blogged RevoLucian's "Bale Out" Remix of Christian Bale's on-set melt-down, I mentioned in passing that he also did a dance version of Bill O'Reilly's on-set meltdown. (If you haven't seen that, here's the original.) I've subsequently decided that the earlier one – though less polished and elegant – is actually funnier. Brilliant, really. Enjoy:

Finally, if that gets done playing, and for all you heartbroken Battlestar Galactica fans at series end, here's the fabulous Bear McCreary version of "All Along the Watchtower". (If you didn't see the Series Three Finale, you definitely don't appreciate the full dramatic power of this song.) Get the Flash Player to see this player.

And – a special bonus t-shirt for the David Foster Wallace fans. You can get your own here.

Fuchs is the author of the novels The Manuscript and Pandora's Sisters, both published worldwide by Macmillan in hardback, paperback and all e-book formats (and in translation); the D-Boys series of high-tech, high-concept, spec-ops military adventure novels – D-Boys, Counter-Assault, and Close Quarters Battle (coming in 2016); and is co-author, with Glynn James, of the bestselling Arisen series of special-operations military ZA novels. The second nicest thing anyone has ever said about his work was: "Fuchs seems to operate on the narrative principle of 'when in doubt put in a firefight'." (Kirkus Reviews, more here.)

Fuchs was born in New York; schooled in Virginia (UVa); and later emigrated to the San Francisco Bay Area, where he lived through the dot-com boom. Subsequently he decamped for an extended period of tramping before finally rocking up in London, where he now makes his home. He does a lot of travel blogging, most recently of some very  long  walks around the British Isles. He's been writing and developing for the web since 1994 and shows no particularly hopeful signs of stopping.
